• Is there a red or orange cooker switch on the wall near to the cooker (can also be hidden inside cupboards)?
• Fuse box - Is there a fuse / MCB marked Cooker?
• What is the rating of the fuse / MCB eg 16A / 32A? The above MCB fuse rating (B32) = 32A (See photos below)
• The old style above MCB (marked 15 on white round button) rating is 15A (See photos below)
If old style re-wirable fuses - colour of two dots on the fuse marked cooker   red = 30A, blue = 15A, white = 5A  (See photos below)

Is there a plug socket inside a cupboard, behind or above or to side of intended appliance location?
Would you like the old gas point / pipe to be removed or capped off?
Is the gas pipe capped or is there a brass coloured cooker bayonet fitting?
